In 2022 we are beginning the adventure of building our first home on a spectacular 2.5 hectare block of land on the edge of Ketambe. The site sits on a steep hill overlooking the Alas River with jungle and mountain views in every direction. It's a breathtaking spot with cool breezes and a natural spring which we are slowly regenerating through planting thousands of fruit trees and local native plants, creating a permaculture food forest.
Following the construction of our self-built, off-grid, eco-friendly, passive solar earthen house we plan to build a series of bungalows and a small restaurant as part of Our Jungle Ecolodge. With a bit of luck we hope to be open late in 2023!
